What Parts are Needed With the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch on a 2013 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel
Question:
I am researching the cost of installing a 5th wheel hitch model# BWRVK3500-5W in a friends 2013 Ram 2500 two door diesel. There is no hitch in the truck at this time. I saw a price of $999 for the hitch but I understand that does not include the gooseneck mount beneath the bed??? Also, do you have an install place near Atlanta, Ga.?

The B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W is just the hitch. You would need Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel # BWGNRK1313-5W, this is the correct kit for the diesel model.
If you want to make hooking up the 5th wheel wiring easier the recommended wiring harness for your vehicle is the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector # PK11893-11932. This wiring harness will allow you to hook up your 5th wheel trailer wiring in your truck bed while maintaining the use of the 7-way at the back of your truck.
