Is There a Locking Threaded Hitch Pin Available to Holt the Receiver in the EcoHitch 306-X7365?
Question:
Greetings. I’m considering the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver, Custom Fit - Class III - 2, Item # 306-X7365, for my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Limited. It looks like it comes with a threaded bolt to attach the Removable Receiver Hitch, however, it doesn’t appear that it can be locked in place. My concern is that I want to be able to lock the Removable Receiver Hitch to the trailer hitch frame. I already have a locking receiver hitch pin for whatever I into the receiver hitch, for example, a bike rack... so that’s not my concern. Do you carry a locking threaded hitch pin that would replace the bolt that’s used to hold the Removable Receiver Hitch in place? Thanks.

With the bolt in question being 5/8-11 by 4 inches long, we do not have a threaded locking pin available. However, you could drill a 1/4" hole in the threaded end of the bolt and then use the Tow Ready Trailer Coupler Lock # 3008 in the drilled hole. This isn't the most elegant solution, but will work.
