No Power To 12 Volt On 7-Way for 2017 Ford F-250
Question:
Sir I have a 2017 Ford F250, we are trying to get a 12 volt fuel transfer tank to work to refuel farm equipment in the field, we cannot get 12 volts at the trailer plug, We were told Aux was hot all time but nothing here. We did add the fuel and relay but nothing. Any help would be very appreciated. Respectfully

Expert Reply:
The 12 volt battery charge line circuit on the trailer connector for a 2017 Ford F-250 is only active while moving. In order to bypass this you'll have to cut the wire from the back of the 7-way and run it to the battery yourself with 10 gauge wire part # 10-1-1 and a circuit breaker part # 9510.
