2015 F-150 Airbags for a Smooth Ride While Towing

Question:

I have a 2015 Ford F150, 2WD truck. I installed the Roadmaster Active Suspension. My trailer has about an 850-900 pound tongue weight. I purchased the RAS because you recommended it. While pulling the trailer, the truck rides like dump truck. Even with a WDH the truck still sags 3 inches in the rear. Would you recommend replacing the RAS with the airbag system?

Yes, I absolutely recommend installing an air bag system on your F-150. The Ride-Rite system item # F2582 will improve ride quality and increase stability. The air bags are specifically designed to keep your vehicle level when you are hauling a heavy load. Each airbag is able to be adjusted individually incase you are needing to balance out the weight of an uneven load.

If you're interested in being able to adjust the air pressure from inside the cab of your truck, I recommend the Firestone Air Command I item # F2158.
