Recommended Sidewinder Pin Box And Hitch For A 2020 Ram 2500 With RamBox

Question:

I have a 2020, 2500 4X4 Ram w/Ram box sides. Im cant find the correct Sidewinder Pin box. The box mount on the camper has numbers but I cant seem to decode them. The s/n S005926532 is on a sticker and tag has 4YDF31S20M6320893. I believe the correct receiver is a RP30047.

The LCI number 20201143161 you provided relates to a 1621 bolt pattern so the correct replacement is the 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride King Pin w/ Sidewinder and Turret - 16,000lbs Item # RP61422 for your pin box. As for the hitch you definitely can use the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000lbs # RP30047 if you want. There are other hitches you can use, you just need to have the correct wedge kit to lock the king pin in place. For the # RP30047 you'll need the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for Select Series Fifth Wheels Item # SWW-03.

If you need rails for your hitch then I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches Item # RP56009-53. These rails are a custom install which will require no drilling into the frame to lessen installation time.
