Positive Wire and Ground Wire Terminals on Optronics LED Clearance Lights
Question:
I just purchased an Optronics clearance light replacement MCL527RK for my utility trailer and it is the right one based on size. It has two female-type connections on it and the trailer connections available are male-type. However, how do I tell which is powerinch and which is groundinch on the light itself? I do know black is power and white is ground but cant find markings on the light.

The positive black wire will go into the bottom terminal on the connector and the white wire into the top terminal on the Optronics LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL527RMB. You can determine the top as the writing stamped onto the rear cover will be right side up.
We do offer replacement Optronics 2-Wire Marker Light Pigtails # AL42PB if yours are damaged.
