Recommended 7-Way Blade Wiring, Brake Control and Mounting Bracket For a 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Hi there- I have a C13410 hitch on our vehicle and I would love to permanently mount a 7 pin socket near the receiver. Do you have any recommendations on how to do that? The installation video of this hitch onto the wagon is spot on regarding what it looks like. Thanks!

I recommend the Curt Easy Mount Bracket # C58000 to mount a 7-way on your 2019 Subaru Outback. Since the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13410 uses a hidden cross tube this bracket will mount to the face of the receiver tube. This will provide you with a secure mount that will not require you to drill holes into your rear fascia.
If you do not have a 7-way yet the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L will convert a Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143885 4-way flat connector and give you the wiring necessary to run a charge line to your battery.
A Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 will work with this 7-way to control the trailer brakes on trailers with up to 2 electric braking axles.
