Recommended Trailer Brake Controller and Plug In Adapter For 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Question:
I recently installed a brake controller I bought from you for a 2018 Tacoma and it was seamless. I am now doing the same job for my Dad who owns a 2020 Chevy 1500 Silverado, however Im not finding an easy solution to Plug and Play.foot Can you suggest a brake controller for max 2 axles that has a wiring harness ready for the Silverado? Thanks!

I would be happy to recommend a trailer brake controller and plug in wiring adapter for your dad's 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500!
I recommend going with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is an extremely reliable controller with great features like an easy to read LCD screen, built in diagnostics that are easy to read and understand, and it is compatible with trailers that have 1-4 braking axles so it will work perfectly on the vast majority of trailers.
To install the # 90195 in your dad's Silverado you will just need the plug in wiring adapter # 3064-P which will plug in to the factory fuse box located underneath the dash of the truck.
I included an installation video of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
