Are You Able To Mix Parts Between The Roadmaster BrakeMaster And Demco Stay-In-Play Dup Systems
Question:
I previously owed a Class A diesel pusher and I had the air brake system installed or my tow vehicle. I am presently purchasing a Class A Holiday Rambler Vacationer 35K with hydraulic disc brakes. I notice you have a system that compares to the air system RM-9060 with one exception instead of the air being supplied from the tow vehicle you have an on board air compressor for a not air brake tow vehicle. My question is I have all the parts from my original system of which I think compares will I be able to use everything and only need the compressor part. I have purchased all my RV needs from you in the past. Thank You,

The Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink Monitor - Proportional Item # DM86VR and Roadmaster BrakeMaster Braking System with BrakeAway for RVs with Hydraulic Brakes - Proportional # RM-9060 are two different systems and you would not be able to mix the parts between units. Doing so could cause the braking system to malfunction and void any warranty on the breaking systems and place all liability in the event of an accident on you.
I recommend using your old RM-9060 with the RoadMaster Second Vehicle Kit with BreakAway for BrakeMaster Systems
Item # RM-98160.
