Is Drilling Required to Install Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 41929 on a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500
Question:
I have a 2011 Dodge 2500 pickup short bed. Your web page says no drilling required. The installation instructions say drilling is needed for short beds. Is that only for the 1500 series or all short beds? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
I checked with Draw-Tite and they do indicate that drilling is required to install trailer hitch # 41929 on a 2011 Ram 2500. Curt hitch # C15409 does not require drilling according to the installation instructions that I have linked for you. I know that your previously asked about weight distribution and this hitch is compatible with weight distribution systems that fit in 2 inch trailer hitches.
