6-Pole Extension Recommendation for 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser and 2005 Hunter Fat Shadow Trailer
Question:
I have a 2008 Toyota FJ cruiser that I use to pull a 2005 Hunter Fat Shadow tear trailer. I need an extension because the connection is too short between the trailer and FJ. What I need is an 18inch coiled with a maleinch end and a femaleinch 6 round to 6 round. Do you make this?

We do have a solution for you, but the Hopkins Heavy-Duty Trailer Coiled Extension # HM47055 you referenced has female connectors on both ends and is 8 feet in length.
If you have a 6-way male connector on your FJ, my recommendation is to replace the connector with the appropriate length of Deka Wire # DW04906-1 and use a Pollak 6-Pole Connector # PK11604. By using this, you will not need an extension.
I have provided a link to a video showing how to replace a 6-pole connector.
