Troubleshooting T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Way for 2014 Audi A5

Do you have wiring diagram pin-out of 1188561 connector plugs for the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118561. Need for trouble shooting. Only running lights work. fuses OK.

To be clear, the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118561 is not a confirmed fit for the 2014 Audi A5. This wiring harness fits 2012-2016 Honda CR-V. If you are looking for a wiring harness for a 2014 Audi A5 I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT.

In order to troubleshoot this problem I would first begin by checking the ground since it should be quick and simple. Make sure there is a good, clean connection to the ground surface. Assuming the ground connection is secure on the vehicle and trailer, I would determine if the problem is coming from the vehicle or the trailer wiring system.

Use a 12V probe-style circuit tester like # PTW2979 to check for function at the 4-Way plug on the vehicle side. Have a helper sit in the front of the vehicle to engage the functions while you test. If you find that a function does not have a correct power reading, test the wires from the vehicle side.
