Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Wiring For a 2016 Jayco Seneca With Freightliner Chassis
Question:
Hi I have a 2016 Seneca by Jayco motorhome. It has air brakes and I am trying to wire in an electric brake Tekonsha P3. The motorhome does have a 7 way on back. After 2 full days of searching and not a part left on the dash Board area. I have finally found the wire. But on the motorhome side the wires are red, white, Red with White and 2 blues. The electric brake side is Red, white, Blue and black. Please Help me . I do not understand what wires will go together. Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
You will want to use a Digital Multimeter # PT89ZR to confirm the wires are correct with their function on your 2016 Jayco Seneca. The wires should be as follows
White - Ground
Red - 12V Constant Power
Red/White - Brake Signal
Blue(2) - Brake Controller Output
So the wires on the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 will connect as follows if the wiring matches your Seneca. White to White, Blue to 2 Blue, Black to Red, and Red to Red/White.
