How To Choose Correct Extended Length Ball Mount for 2" Hitch
Question:
I have a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel powered truck with a Class V receiver. Is extension with a 2” such as this one, that fits my receiver?

I do have plenty of fixed ball mount options with an extended length that fit a 2" trailer hitch receiver. In order to choose the correct one, you'll need to know your rise/drop requirements which can be found by measuring from the top inside edge of the trailer hitch to the ground and then subtracting the distance from the ground to the bottom of the coupler. The list below then displays all of the options with an extended length shank like the Ball Mount 3/4" Rise or 2" Drop, Extra Long part # D-26.
