No Power on 12-V Pin of 7-Way Trailer Connector on 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500
Question:
I don’t have power to the 12 volt terminal do I have to hook something up under the hood

There shouldn't be any connections necessary under the hood, but you might have a fuse that's blown or missing. The fuse that protects/powers up that circuit is located in the Engine Compartment Fuse Block, in location # 2. Check that fuse and install or replace if necessary.
