Recommended Hitch and 4 Bike Rack for 2012 Buick Enclave

Question:

I want to purchase a Thule 4 bike hitch bike rack. The car is a 2012 Buick Enclave. I need a tow hitch for the rack, can you recommend which tow hitch to purchase with the rack? Do you sell then on the site? Thanks

For your 2012 Enclave, I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Receiver, part # 75528. We do indeed sell the hitch, you can see it by clicking the provided link.

For a bike rack I would like you to take a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro, part # TH934XTR. The Hitching Post Pro offers features like folding arms that make storing the rack easier as well as anti-sway cradles that prevent the bikes from swaying back and forth and colliding with each other or the rear of the vehicle during transport. The Hitching Post Pro can also be used in the smaller 1-1/4 inch receiver if need be.

A locking hitch pin is available as part # THSTL2, and if you were planning on carrying womens bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, I would recommend using a frame adapter like part # TH982XT. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
