Toyota Prius C 2015 Yakima SkyBox Compatibility

Hello, I just purchased Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars- Aluminum-Silver 41inches long for my 2015 Prius C hatcback. I am also considering buying a Yakima skybox NX 16. I believe this will fit the rack, right?

In order for the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black Carbonite, part # Y95AV, to fit your 2015 Toyota Prius 5 you need 47" of space between the front bars and the edge of your rear hatch. If you have this distance, you will be able to open the rear hatch without it hitting the rear of the roof top cargo box. In order to measure this distance, you have to install your Rhino roof rack. The rack consists of;

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 41" Long - Qty 2, part # RRVA106S-2,
Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Naked Roofs or Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 4, part # RRRLKVA, and
Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof, part # DK351.

Once the rack is installed you have to measure from the center of the front crossbar to the edge of your open hatch. If that distance is 47" or more, you can install the SkyBox NX 16 without rear hatch interference.
