The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76227 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon Touring with the 2.5L engine. You do not have a sport model as they were discontinued in 2011, and since this hitch fits the 2010-2019 Outbacks they had to mention that it will not fit the sport models.
This hitch is a great option as the hidden crosstube makes it where only the receiver itself is visible, and its 600lb tongue weight rating and 4000lb trailer weight rating makes it well suited for carrying a bike rack, cargo carrier, or even towing a trailer.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 118467, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
