Replacement Step Motor for Kwikee Steps on 2013 Itasca Sunova RV
Question:
Steps wont go up all the way and make loud clunking noises like the gears are jumping.I have the three step model with a turnbuckle style linkage. I would like to order the correct motor, do you think I need a new gear box also?

I would also take a look at the actual gear that's being used to drive your steps up and down isn't damaged, but it's possible that when replacing your old motor you will need to also replace the gear box and linkage assembly. If you've got a motor with the LCI part number 336043 then the Replacement Motor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379147 will work for you. The correct gearbox and linkage for this motor is the Replacement Gear Box and A Linkage # LC379160.
If you've got something different just let me know the motor number off the part and I can confirm which motor and linkage will be the replacement.
