How To Use the Surco Locking Bike Rack Knob
Question:
I do not understand how the locking mechanism works. Nothing seems to change when I lock or unlock the knob.

When the # SPN-104 is unlocked, the knob should be gripping the inner bolt to allow the knob to turn and loosen. Occasionally you'll think the lock is all of the way turned but it hasn't engaged and it appears that the knob is not working; you'll want to try to turn the key just a bit more and also make sure the knob is installed when confirming it works.
If you still are having issues let me know and I can get some other things to try.
