Recommended Spare Tire and Carrier For CE Smith Multi Sport Boat and Kayak Trailer

Hello, I have the C E Smith 48870 trailer and need a spare tire. Do you have a recommend spare time for that trailer? Do you also have a recommended bracket to mount the spare tire on the trailer? Thank you.

For the CE Smith Multi Sport Plus Boat and Kayak Trailer # CE48870 I recommend the Loadstar 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel # AM30670. The galvanized wheel will match what comes on the trailer.
The spare tire carrier will depend on how you would prefer to mount the spare.
A CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier # CE22007Z-11050-2 will allow you to mount the tire horizontally on top of the trailer. This would work best near the a-frame of the trailer to support the tire.
The Offset Trailer Spare Tire Carrier # DL22120 will allow you to mount the tire vertically on the trailer frame.
With either carrier be sure to use an Adco Spare Tire Cover # 290-1740 to protect the tire from damaging UV rays and weather.
