Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2019 GMC Canyon Denali w/ Blue Ox Tow Bar and Roadmaster Base Plate
Question:
I would like to purchase a base plate for my Denali to tow behind my motorhome. Looking at the Roadmaster it appears to be less noticeable and easier to install than other brands . I have a Blue Ox Alexia 10K tow bar . Is there an adapter available to go from the Roadmaster to Blue Ox? I have the safety cables and the Patriot II braking system.

If your Blue Ox tow bar is a direct connect type, such as the Blue Ox Avail, # BX7420, we have the Roadmaster Adapter Kit for Blue Ox Motorhome Mounted Tow Bars, # RO64FR. These adapters allow you to use that existing tow bar with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit, # RM-523182-5 that you mention. These base plates are a confirmed fit for your 2019 GMC Canyon Denali, 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive as long as you do not have the adaptive cruise control feature.
Since you already have safety cables and supplemental braking system too, you only need the wiring for your 2019 GMC Canyon. I suggest the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This wiring kit is designed to effectively prevent electrical feedback keeping your Canyon's electrical system safe.
