The Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 can be easily installed by an average consumer. Be sure to match this to your current equalizer dimensions to prevent any damage to your suspension system. The horizontal bolts have a 6" separation to the bolt centers. The hanger bolt is 3-1/2" from the horizontal bolt center line to the center of the hanger bolt hole. If your hanger is very different let me know what you have and I can suggest a equalizer that will fit appropriately.

If you suspension is in good condition with little rust and corrosion the bolts should easily loosen with a standard set of sockets and ratchets. It is a good idea to soak the fasteners with some penetrating lubricant prior to the removal of the old fasteners on your 2020 Jayco Jay Flight SLX. You will need to support the trailer frame with the wheels slightly removed from the ground. It may be easier to remove the wheels to access the bolts. If you do so be sure to also support the axles with Jack stands as well. I have linked a video below of an install on a Grand Design Travel Trailer.

I recommend upgrading your bolts with the Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR46ZR. This kit will provide you with wet bolts for all your leaf springs. With these you can add grease to both reduce noise and allow your suspension parts to flex and move easier.
