To upgrade your current Reese Strait-Line system, all you'd need to do is replace the existing trunnion bars (assuming that your current system uses trunnion bars) with 1500 lb bars, part # RP58369 which are sold individually.
If you currently use round bars, you'll need to convert to a trunnion system as Reese discontinued the round bar Strait-Line systems. To upgrade a round bar system, in addition to the replacement # RP58369 trunnion bars, you'll also need to replace your weight distribution head with part # RP58167 so it'll be compatible with the trunnion bars.
Because the 2013 Chevy Suburban 2500 was equipped with a factory hitch, we don't offer an aftermarket hitch option for that vehicle.
