Can the four holes be used on the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter flange to mount to a fifth wheel flange with a bolt pattern?

The holes in the mounting flanges on both the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapters
# CAB-C5G and # CAB-C5GX1216 can be used to provide additional support for the adapter.
Convert-A-Ball guarantees that the connection will not separate from the 5th wheel pin when properly installed with the locking collar of the hitch. The 1/2" grade 5 bolts and nuts are to be used as a supplemental mounting system and not intended to be the only hardware that holds the adapter.
