Can Easy Lube Hub And Drum Assemblies Be Used On AL-KO T-52 Axles?
Question:
Can Easy Lube Hub/Drum Assemblies be used on these axles?

The only difference between Easy Lube hub and drum assemblies and standard hub and drum assemblies is the grease cap having a removeable plug so you can access the spindles built in zerk fitting while the wheel is still installed.
The Easy Lube hub and drum assemblies can be use on any trailer with the same bearing combination, but that will not add the easy lube feature.
If your axle does not have easy lube spindles then your best bet is to install Bearing Buddies. Bearing Buddies replace the standard grease cap and add a zerk fitting for you to easily add grease to the assembly without having to remove the hub and manually pack the bearings.
Now Bearing Buddies come in different sizes based on the hub bore of your hub and drum assembly. You will need to use digital calipers like # PTW80157 to measure the hub bore as shown in the included diagram.
For example if your hubs have a hub bore of measures 1.980" then you will need the # BB1980A-SS.
If you find that your hub bore is a different diameter just let me know.
I included a video of the # BB1980A-SS for you to take a look at.
