Width Of Plastic Housing On Fulton XLT 2-Speed Trailer Winch F142425

What is the width of the plastic body on this winch? i need it to fit between two metal poles on my boat trailer.

I had our warehouse measure the Fulton XLT 2-Speed Trailer Winch # F142425 you were looking at and the widest part of the plastic body measures 7" as shown in the included diagram.
Now this is not the widest part of the winch, as from the handle nut to the other side of the jack measures 10" wide.
