Why Would Trailer Tire of Rear Axle Wear on Inside

Question:

I have a tandem axle Shorelander boat trailer. The rear right tire is wearing unevenly on the inside edge. Tire pressure is checked regularly and kept at the correct pressure. What can I check and fix to solve this problem

You probably have a bent spindle or axle on that side which is causing the wear. Or it could be a suspension component bent or broken. My best guess would be that the trailer got backed into a curb on that side which bent the spindle up or out and threw off the alignment.

If you can get me the size of your tire I can help you with a replacement as well as the axle capacity if you wanted to try replacing the spindle. You might take the trailer to an alignment shop that can work on trailers and they'll be able to easily see.

I attached a link to all of the tires we offer as well.
