Picking Between Towed Vehicles 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 2020 Honda Accord and 2021 Ford Escape
Question:
I am trying to choose between buying a 2020 jeep cherokee trailhawk, or 2020 honda accord sport, or a 2021 ford escape hybrid plug in to tow behind my thor vegas motorhome. Which one is the easiest to setup for flat towing since I am hoping to perform the work myself? What are the recommended parts and cost?

All of the vehicles you mentioned can be flat towed but the 2020 Honda Accord Sport can only be flat towed if it's a manual transmission model. So assuming that's not something you'd want to mess with that leaves the 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and the 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid which would both require about the same components to flat tow so one wouldn't have advantage over other in that regard. I'd pick between these two based on which you'd rather have with you at the campsite or to own in general.
Really the only difference in components you'd need between the two vehicles is the base plate kits that fit either. For both vehicles you'd need a tow bar like part # RM-522, a lighting/safety cable kit part # RM-9243-1, and supplemental braking like # BLU37TR.
For the Cherokee the base plate kit you'd need is the # RM-521451-4 or for the Escape # RM39FR and you'd be set in that regard.
