Hitch Size Options for Saris Hitch Mounted Bike Racks
Question:
My 2021 Venza has a 1 1/4 activity mount. My Saris bike rack hitch connector measures 1 1/2. What adapter do you recomend? Sounds like I also need to buy a pin for these adapters ?.

The Saris bike racks all use either a 2" hitch connection for a 1-1/4" hitch connection, there is no in-between. Furthermore, the 2" hitch connections are usually composed of a 1-1/4" to 2" adapter therefore this can be removed when the smaller 1-1/4" hitch connection is needed. The adapter is the Replacement Aluminum Hitch Adapter Sleeve for Saris 1-1/4" Hitch Bike Racks part # SA3032.
There will not be an adapter needed to use a 1-1/4" Saris bike rack with a 1-1/4" hitch.
