Gooseneck Ball and Safety Chain Recommendation For 2021 Ram 3500 Pulling Camper With Reese Goose Box

Hello, I am picking up my new 2021 Ram 3500 Dually with 8ft bed next week. I am going to order the Reese Goosebox 20k for my camper. What safety chains do i need to get? My truck also comes with the 5th wheel prep package. So I need a gooseball and safety chain tiedown kit as well. What would you recommend?

For your Camper that you are installing the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR, you will want the Reese Safety Chain Kit with Clevis Hooks # RP49151. This chain kit is specific to the Reese Goose Box so it will attach with the included hardware with no drilling required.
On your 2021 Ram 3500 I recommend the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit # BWGNXA2062. I prefer this kit as it includes a great storage case for when the ball and safety chain hooks are not required. But best of all is the handle for the gooseneck ball. You will not have to try and lift the tab in the ball to release the latch, this is especially helpful for those who put grease on the ball and coupler.
