Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2021 Volkswagen Golf TSI To Carry Bike Rack

Planning on getting a yakima class 1 rack. Do I just need to order the hitch or are there more parts I will need? Do you also happen to know why my owners manual says I should never tow a trailer?
