For your 2011 BMW 335i X-Drive I recommend the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH44VR. This custom fit hitch will not require any drilling for mounting the receiver. This is all you will need for being able to carry a bike rack or cargo carrier type of accessory.
If you will need to pull a trailer or add some auxiliary lights you will need the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches # 391CONVA7. This will include both the wiring necessary for a 4-flat trailer connection as well as the ball mount for a trailer with the hooks for the safety chains.
I have linked the installation instructions below that will include pictures of the installation for both kits on your BMW.
