Replacing Florescent Light In A 1996 Enclosed Car Hauler Trailer

Question:

Hello I bought a 1996 enclosed car trailer, the interior lights have some 12v lights but mainly 2 8ft florescent light fixtures that run on 110v. What can I replace these fixtures with? I keep running my head into them. Thank you

I recommend replacing the 110v florescent light with a LED RV Utility Light # DG52529VP. This light assembly is only 3/4" tall so it will help prevent you from hitting your head on the lights. They use LED's which handle the vibration and shock that a trailer endures far better than incandescent or florescent lights. Each light will put out 480 lumens and is 14-1/8" long by 3-11/16" wide.

These lights can be turned on and off at the light or you can wire them to a central switch.
