How To Wire the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector
Question:
Do you have a conversion chart for a 2020 GMC 1500 factory installed 7-blade RV connector? The 12706 colors-imprinted IDs do not match up with the GMC outputs. I thought the auto industry had standardized the wiring colors....

I have attached a help article below which shows the correct way to wire the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector part # PK12706. The style is referred to as 7-Way RV Standard. The wire colors on the trailer must be disregarded, you will need to test the wires for function and attach them to the respective pins based on this alone.
