Recommended Bike Rack for Electric Bikes with Fat Tires on 2015 Nissan Murano

Question:

I am looking for a two bike rack that I can carry on my 2015 Nissan Murano, My two bikes are 54 to 55 pounds each they are E bikes and that’s with the battery out. They come with a 4 inch tire so I don’t know how to measure that except for that that’s what it says it is and I need to be able to have a ramp with this to roll it up because they are kind of heavy they also have 20 inch wheels so I was looking at the co-op and I’m not sure if it’s the right one or not and I could not find the adapter please let me know

I recommend using the Yakima On-Ramp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # Y36FR, which can carry bikes up to 66-lbs each and has a built in ramp to make loading the bikes a breeze. This rack fits in 2" hitch receivers like the one on your 2015 Nissan Murano. To accommodate your 4" wide tires you'll also need the Fat Tire Straps for Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack # Y23FR and this rack also comes with locks for the rack and the bikes, so everything will always be secured.
