Which Carrier for 250-lb Motorcycle on 2012 GMC Savanna 1500 with 400-lb Tongue Weight Hitch

Best carrier for a Honda Elite motorscooter....110cc...254 pounds.. Vehicle I will be using is a 2012 GMC Savanna Cargo Van 1500 Hitch is rated for 400 lbs. tongue weight.

Since you indicate your Savanna trailer hitch is rated for 400-lbs tongue weight you can use the Ultra-Fab Motorcycle Carrier # UF48-979033. Your 254-lb motor scooter is well with the carrier's 500-lb capacity. This carrier includes a loading ramp. Be sure to load the scooter so that its weight is evenly distributed across the carrier.

Accessory items to consider are a lock to secure the carrier to your hitch receiver and cam-buckle tie-downs to help secure the scooter to the carrier.
