Yakama "Slim Shady" Awning Compatibility with GoFastCampers Superlite Tent
Question:
Wondering if it’s possible this awning will still be compatible if mounted in coordination with a GoFastCampers Superlite rooftop tent on a 2017 Ford Explorer with a Skyline/HD roof rack system?

Expert Reply:
You cannot use the Slim Shady awning and the GFC tent as they both need to use the same space directly above the roof rails.
An excellent solution is the Yakima # Y07437 SkyRise Tent that also acts as a large awning and includes ladder, rainfly, mattress, and locks. Sleeps three adults.
