Cargo Carrier That Allows Back Door to Open on 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
Are there any cargo hitch carriers that will allow me to open the back door while they are attached to the trailer hitch? I like the E98872, does that work or do I need another model? Thanks

There are a couple of options for cargo carriers that will allow the back door of your 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to open with the carrier on, but your Jeep's door would not be able to open with the part number you asked about.
The cargo carriers that will have a straight shank and shorter sidewalls, so you can choose from either of the following:
- 19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18100
- 23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # CC-100
Both carriers will allow you to open your Jeep's rear door, but between the two I really like the Curt carrier the best because it has more bumper clearance and is aluminum, which means it is lighter than the Stromberg Carlson (29 lbs to 39 lbs) and importantly, is also rustproof.
In order to secure either the Stromberg Carlson or Curt to your hitch, you will need either Pin & Clip # C21510 or Hitch Lock # e98880.
I also wanted to mention, if you need a hitch for your '19 Wrangler Unlimited, the best option because it provides the most clearance under your bumper, is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT78MR.
