Compatibility of Hopkins HM40975 For In-Bed Installation on 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500

Question:

Will the # HM40975 Hopkins plug, Fit in place of the plug that I see In the bed of my new 2021 Chev Silverado 3500HD? Also will the Curt # C56070 plug and play in bed 5th wheel wiring and plug kit plug in to this plug if installed rather than drilling a hole and using the curt plug supplied? Im looking to use the hopkins plug for a factory look with the CURT plug n play kit I Already have. By looking at pictures they look like they will work. But I dont know...

The Hopkins # HM40975 is actually the same part GM uses as the OEM in-bed trailer connector, so it will replace the blank installed in the bed of your truck. The # HM40975 would indeed be compatible with a wiring harness like the Curt # C56070 you'd mentioned, so everything would indeed work together.
