Hitch Recommendation For A 2021 GMC Sierra 2500HD Short Bed W/ A Heartland Milestone 386BH

I have a 2021 gmc sierra 2500hd 610 bed I do believe. Just purchased a heartland milestone 386bh. Want to know if a slider is actually needed for my setup. Have had many different opinions on it and cant get a straight answer. Thanks in advance!

Since your 2021 GMC Sierra 2500HD is a short bed using a sliding hitch will help add more turning radius and help prevent the nose of your Heartland Milestone 386BH from coming in contact with the cab. You can go without but I always highly recommend a slider in a short bed truck out of precaution for the cab and camper nose. When you tow longer trailers like yours turns can be very troublesome in most campsites so the slider will definitely help.
