CIPA Tow Mirror Fit on 2019 RAM Tradesman Truck

Question:

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesmen Crew Cab. When I put the 11400 tow mirror extensions on the standard mirrors they slipped right on. However, the fit was tight on the cab side but on the other end they seemed rather loose. Not so much front to back, but up and down they would travel easily up and down about an inch. Is this going to be a problem when going down the road? Is there a fix for this issue or will it not be problem? Also, is there a different mirror extension I should be looking for? Thanks.

The CIPA # CM11400 is the only mirror made especially for the 2019 RAM 1500 Classic. It is custom made just to fit your vehicle. However, product note states, "Product does not fit full chrome mirrors, SLT, or Laramie models.

I spoke with CIPA and they confirmed that the"Tradesman" version is confirmed to fit. They advised to check for correct tape location and that the wedge is correctly placed. If you need further troubleshooting help, please email me again.
