Vehicle Wiring Harness for Trailer Connection on a 1998 Subaru Legacy
Question:
Is there a manufacturer trailer plug somewhere on my 1998 Subaru Legacy Wagon or does the car require hard wiring for trailer connection? My Subaru is not an Outback version.

I recommend using the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT to install a 4-way flat trailer plug on your 1998 Subaru Legacy. This wiring harness will use sensors that will clamp over the factory taillight wiring. These sensors mean that you will not have to splice and risk overloading the wiring in your vehicle. The kit also includes a in line fuse to protect the system from overheating.
There is not currently a plug in wiring connection available for your Legacy.
