Installation of Putco Resistors On 2002 Dodge Ram Pickup
Question:
Dont know which brake light wires to connect the load equalizer to on my 2002 Dodge Ram

Expert Reply:
Typically resistors like the Load Resistor Kit for LED Turn Signals - 50 Watts - 6 Ohm - Qty 2 # DI34ZR only need to be installed on flashing circuits, which can experience hyperflashing when using LED lights since they don't draw as much power. If you've installed an LED brake light and are wanting to install a resistor you'll want to test the wires with a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to determine which wires are powered when the brakes are pressed and then install the resistors on those.
If you can provide additional information as to what else you're installing we can further assist you and may even have a video to help.
