Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen TDI
Question:
Every receiver that I pull up for the 2014 Jetta Sportwagen TDI has a note that specifically state that the turbo diesel is excluded. Which receiver is correct for my vehicle?

We only have one option confirmed to fit your 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen TDI, the EcoHitch # 306-X7284.
I really like the EcoHitch # 306-X7284 as it has a hidden crosstube meaning on the receiver itself will be visible once installed, and has a 2" receiver allowing you more options for accessories than the typical class I hitches would have.
The EcoHitch has a 2000lb trailer weight rating and a tongue weight of 300 lbs.
If you are planning on carrying a bike rack I recommend taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HLY94FR which will accommodate two bikes weighing up to 35lbs each.
I included a video showing the # 306-X7284 being installed on a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen TDI and a video review of the # HLY94FR for you to take a look at.
