How To Add Second AC to Trailer Pre-Wired for Coleman Mach RV Air Conditioner

Question:

I currently have a Coleman Mach 9330A3341 Multi Zone Control 9- series Digital RV Thermostat and a AIRXCEL 48000 air conditioner which is ducted in a 2020 Forest River Flagstaff travel trailer. I was told by the dealer that it is wired and ready for a second A/C, which appears to be true. Will the Furrion 13,500 BTU A/C with the Furrion air distribution box work with with the existing Coleman Mach thermostat? There are a total of 9 wires. Please see pic. Yellow 20 amp wire, with a black hot wire, white neutral wire and a ground wire. Then there is a four wire cluster, including a black wire, a purple wire, a red wire and a blue wire. Finally, there is a two wire cluster with a black wire and a white wire. Will the Furrion a/c work as a second unit? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Expert Reply:

The correct Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner for a Coleman Mach RV Air Conditioner is part # FR82PV for 13,500 Btu's or part # FR42PV for 15,000 Btu's. It will use the existing thermostat or wall control for operation. There should be no hardwiring required, it will plug directly into the existing plug.
