Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta GLI

Looking for a trailer hitch for my GLI so I can use my Kuat bike rack. Will be driving back to NY from MN this summer, so want something stable for long distance as well as short distances for local riding. What one do you recommend? Thank you

I have some great trailer hitch options for a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta GLI. The best option is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7311 because it's most concealed while installed and has the larger 2" receiver tube opening which allows for the greatest variety of hitch mounted accessories to be used. If you don't mind a more visible trailer hitch or only need the smaller 1-1/4" opening then I just recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11474.

In regards to stability, the best thing you can do for this is use the same size shank with the same size receiver meaning no adapter to expand or reduce the opening.
