Should Brake Controller Have Lights on Display when Brake Pedal is Pressed
Question:
Im having some issues with the wiring fault but one thing Im not sure about is the gain indicator lights up when I manually use the controller but does not light up during normal breaking but I can feel the brakes are working. Are the lights supposed to show a indication during braking.

I'm not sure what brake controller you have but in general there are typically lights on the controller that light up when the controller is activating the trailer brakes but yours may not or it may have some type of internal glitch that is preventing it from happening.
Sometimes all it takes to clear out odd internal bugs is to just unplug the controller and plug it back in so you might try that to reset it.
