Hitch Recommendations For A 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 W/ OEM Prep Pkg

I have a Reese 16k hitch with bed rails. New truck is 2020 Sierra at4 with 4” lift and OEM puck system. Can I use old hitch? If so what adaptations are needed and if it won’t work what hitch is recommended

If your rails are the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP84FR then you'll be able to use them in your 2020 GMC Sierra 2500. If not then I recommend using the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Ford and Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C88KR since these will use your vehicle's OEM puck system and you'll be able to attach your current hitch to these rails.
If you want to upgrade to a slider hitch since you have a short bed I recommend the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000lbs # C16521.
