The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000, # AL57298, was designed to work with specific gooseneck hitches because it installs on the outboard side of the frame rails on your Ford Super Duty. This kit will fit the 2WD models only. If you can tell me what type of hitch you have in your truck, I can check the compatibility with this kit. This kit will not fit with gooseneck hitches that mount with custom brackets on the outboard side of the frame rails.
Another option from Air Lift is the LoadLifter Air Helper Springs, # AL57393 for 2WD, or # AL57390 for 4WD. These kits mount on the bottom and inside of the frame rails and, according to my contact at Air Lift, are compatible with most gooseneck and fifth wheel hitches.
If your gooseneck hitch uses custom brackets that install on the outboard side of the frame rails, then a hole will have to be drilled through the bracket to install these kits. I recommend checking with the manufacturer of your gooseneck hitch to see if drilling that hole will void your hitch warranty.
If you do not want to drill a hole through the gooseneck hitch brackets, then I recommend looking into a rubber spring setup like the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, # TFR150SDE. These springs will replace the bump stops on the underside of your frame and do not require any drilling to install.
The air compressor kit that I would recommend with these air bags is the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System, # AL25592.
